Observation of Fire Safety Week 2025

Fire Safety Week 2025 was observed in Cochin Port Authority. As a part, a training program on 'Fire Safety in Oil Handling Areas' was conducted at Cochin Port today aimed to enhance fire safety standards and awareness among port employees and stakeholders. Capt. Bhaskar Krishnan Kunji, Dock Master-CoPA, Shri Subrahmanian K., Chief Fire Officer-CoPA and Taji Joseph Fire Officer-CoPA handled the sessions.

A fire and safety awareness class was held at the Cochin Port Hospital as part of the Fire Safety Week 2025. Shri Subrahmanian K, Chief Fire Officer-CoPA conducted the session. Use of various types of fire extinguishers for different kinds of fire were demonstrated.

A fire & safety awareness session and live demonstration was organised at the IOC Tank Terminal in Willingdon Island, Shri Subramanian K, Chief Fire Officer-CoPA, for the staff members/workers.

CoPA conducted an evacuation drill at Tata Tetley Company in Willingdon Island involving the staff and workers.
