Scope of Tender
Cochin Port Trust propose to initiate a project of Plastic Waste Management System with a view to make Willingdon Island clean and Plastic Free Area. Cochin Port propose to identify an Agency through public tendering to carry out the entire work of Plastic Waste Management in Willingdon Island right from collection of Plastic Waste from various Generation Points viz. Residential Quarters, Offices, Schools, Hotels and other Business Establishments etc. functioning in Willingdon Island, and it is shredded and given back to Cochin Port for laying road as per the Scope of Work mentioned in this document. The approximate quantity of Plastic Wastes generated in Willingdon Island is estimated to be around 10 Tons per month.
